- Panela (Brown Cane Sugar)
- Cinnamon

Cooking Instructions
Peel 2 ripe plantains and cut into medium pieces
In a pot, place 2 cups of water to boil, adding the cinnamon, cloves and allspice.
When the water is boiling, add the panela (brown unrefined cane sugar) and cover the pot. Cook over low heat for approximately 5 minutes or until the panela has dissolved.
Place the plantains, stir, and cook for 10 minutes, with the pot covered.
When the plantains are cooked (with a caramelized tone), serve the plantains and bathe them with the panela honey.
